Baptism

Go public with your faith

At COMMUNITY, we believe in helping people find their way back to God, and baptism is an especially important part of the journey of a Christ-follower. We offer baptism classes for all ages as well as baptism events throughout the year.

In Jesus’ own words, being disciples is something that involves baptism. He led by example by being baptized and He asked His followers to do the same. Before Jesus physically left the earth, He challenged His followers with this mission:

“Go then, to all people everywhere and make them My disciples. Baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and then teach them to obey everything I have commanded you.” – Matthew 28:19-20

Baptism Class

If you are considering taking your faith public through baptism or have questions about baptism, then join us for our next Baptism Class. The Baptism class is a great place to find out what baptism means, why we should be baptized, and the difference between infant baptism and adult baptism.

Does your child want to be baptized?

Kids’ City (our infant-5th-grade children’s ministry) regularly holds the DIVE Family Baptism Class which is a class for parents and elementary-aged children to learn about what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the meaning of baptism.

Ready to be baptized?

Ready to say “yes” to Jesus through baptism? Click below to fill out the form and we’ll be in touch with you to schedule a day, time and location. Many of our locations have baptistries within their building, but in some cases, it might be more enjoyable to be baptized outdoors – in a swimming pool or perhaps a nearby lake.
