StuCo is this big party we have for Jr High and High School Students. We have games, worship, large group, small groups, and snacks. It’s a lot of fun. You get to learn about God in a fun way, and meet tons of new friends. Seeing it first hand is the best way to figure it out. Come listen to the band. Meet other students, maybe even check out a small group. Ask all your questions, then decide.

While the days of summer heat turned up, our Yorkville Stuco group cranked up the water and suds for a carwash at the CarStar, in Yorkville! Car washes were $10 (with $5 of every ten, donated to the Make a Wish Foundation) and they washed appox 20 cars, that day! When asked what he thought of the experience, StuCo student, Ethan Bell said, "It's pretty much, the greatest thing I've ever done! It was awesome getting to raise money and hang out with so many cool people!" The StuCo team was raising money to support The Make a Wish Foundation and StuCo event costs, in support of attendees needing financial assistance.

Each summer we switch gears as a ministry and move into a season with more events and activities for students to participate in. Every campus plans their own unique activities while also coming together for large scale events. Make sure you download the appropriate calendar for your campus. If you have any questions, you can contact your campus director.

Students on a Mission. That was the original name created by Jordon Prosapio for a group of students who were determined to make a difference by feeding the hungry. The name of the group eventually changed to Meals 4 Many, which more accurately conveyed their intent: To unite four high schools in a project that would raise $15,000 to provide 100,000 meals, that would be packaged by students and sent worldwide to places like Cambodia and Zambia.

On April 15th we hosted a special event to address the dangers of pornography and create an open dialog about teenage sexuality. The event featured Mike Foster and Anne Jackson as our keynote speakers. There were many families that were not able to make it so we decided to make the content available here. During the night, we were only able to address a few of the questions we received during the Q&A time. With the help of Anne Jackson, our StuCo team put together our responses to these questions. You can download the Q&A here. Watch the Video...

Our StuCo services are designed as a place where students can come to connect with each other and also connect with God. Each age group (junior high and high school) will spend about an hour having fun, meeting new friends, and hanging out together in a connecting space at each location.
