Home Ministries First Impressions

First Impressions

The First Impressions Teams interacts with everyone who enters our doors – in one way or another. As you drive into our parking lot, you are greeted by someone from our Parking Ministry. As you enter the doors, you are greeted by one of our smiling Greeters, if you enjoy coffee or a treat, it is served by someone on our Hospitality team.

If you’re a first-time visitor, we have a Welcome person who will answer any questions you might have about COMMUNITY. Once you’re seated, an Usher helps with communion and the offering. If you like the message, you could get a copy of it on CD from our Resource Ministry. All these teams form First Impressions.

The First Impressions Teams allow you to contribute in a way that’s comfortable for you. The teams connect with each other as they pray before they serve and as they care for each other through the friendships they build.

To contribute on the Naperville - Yellow Box team please contact Lee Messersmith
For the Romeoville team contact Tina Caceres

Parking

These folks withstand the elements to guide people into our parking lots. They answer questions about where new comers and single moms can park. They make sure that anyone coming for the first time knows where to go once they get out of their cars.

Greeter

Greeters usually are outgoing people with big smiles. They will stand at a door and welcome people as they are coming in. They also stand at the entrance to the Gym or auditorium and hand out the Community Connections. Greeters work very closely with the Welcome Ministry to make sure that any visitors to our church are Welcomed warmly.

Hospitality

These people enjoy the behind the scenes work. Putting out cookies or snacks and making coffee or lemonade. You will find that most people in the Hospitality Ministry find great pleasure in making our church an inviting warm place for people to come.

Ushers

Ushers are people who enjoy serving during the service. Whether it’s passing communion or the offering. Ushers get a great opportunity to see people accept Christ as their Savior for the very first time.

Resource Ministry

The Resource Ministry is responsible for making COMMUNITY resources such as message CD's, 3C Journals, Small Group guides and more available every weekend. This is a great opportunity to serve and to also be able to connect with other Christ followers while getting the message out.

Welcome

Our Welcome ministry is a great place to serve. Here we usually see our most outgoing followers contribute. These are people who have the gift for knowing when someone is new. These are people who really want to see people get connected and are excited as new people walk in the door.
