Why Support and Recovery?

PDFPrintE-mail

We offer a safe place to heal.

Support and Recovery small group leaders work very hard to provide a safe place for people to grow and recover. Confidentiality and anonymity is expected. Group leaders facilitate groups where people discover their next step of growth without being told what they “should do.”

We have seasoned, trained leaders who have themselves experienced healing.

Groups leaders are trained volunteers who are continuing in their own healing and recovery. Having been motivated by their own experience with God and healing, they desire to share their story and create a safe place for others to experience God’s healing in community. Leaders receive on-going training and coaching as they continue to grow in their leadership and facilitation skills.

We believe that Service Speeds Recovery…

So we are always encouraging those who are serious about healing and hope to contribute in support and recovery ministry. Anything from setting up chairs, greeting people to apprentice leading, leading and coaching groups…we ALWAYS need and want you.
