Mark your calendars and plan to join us at Brady Elementary on Saturday, August 23rd for our annual Back to School Event.
If you have sponsored a child with school supplies (read article here), you can be a part of watching the children receive their supplies that day. We will also sponsor a cook-out and games and activities. Volunteers are needed from approximately 10:00 - 3:00.
Right after we celebrate back to school at Brady, I will be heading down the street to the beautifully renovated McCarty Park to help at the annual Celebrate our Children festival. Community 4:12 is staffing the food tent from 3:00 - 6:00 pm on Saturday, August 23rd. If you can give an hour or two or three, that afternoon, it is a super fun festival, so come support our partner church, First Presbyterian Church of Aurora, and help me sell hot dogs and cotton candy!
