Communications play a big part in the life of Community. Here are just some of the opportunities to be a part of this Team:
Do you have the gift of story-telling? If you enjoy creative writing and editing, this is a great area for you to serve. There are opportunities to edit and write featured articles for the web site, as well as formatting e-newsletters. And we can always use graphic designers to help us create a consistent and professional image with our print and electronic materials.
If you have web design or programming experience, we have a variety of projects you can step in and help with. Some areas of web contribution require little to no web design expertise, while others require use of PHP and MySQL. Sit down and help us update the content of one of our web pages, or hide in a hole and write some killer code.

Today we're launching a user forum on communitychristian.org as a part of many new online community features. In response to an overwhelming need to help people during these tough times, the initial purpose of the forums is to provide a place for attenders to network, post classifieds, find a job, or promote their business. You can also buy and sell things, give away stuff you don't need, and ask for help from the people at Community. So if you have a need or can help someone else, create your account today and start networking.

I'm excited to announce some major additions to communitychristian.org -- Now all registered users can participate in a virtual community together, share photos, create and join groups, send messages, engage in discussion, and generally have a good time. Find out what other attenders are up to, create a private group for your small group to stay in touch, or meet new people from your campus! Whatever your flavor, there's something for everyone at communitychristian.org/connect - You'll want to read on to find out more about these exciting new features.
If you like democracy, freedom, and home-made apple pie, you’ll love commenting.
Nearly every article and video on our web site has commenting enabled, so you
can ask a question, share a story, or post your own thoughts relating to the
content. It’s one way we’re opening up our web site for discussion. We want to
hear from you and engage in a meaningful dialog that can help shape who we are
as a church, transform our online community, and (of course) help people find
their way back to God. You’ll need to register for an account to comment, so sign
up today and start speaking your mind.
You can keep up with what's going on at communitychristian.org by subscribing to any of the feeds on our web site. A feed is a list of content that will automatically notify you when a new item has been posted. So if you want to know every time we post a news article or a new video, subscribe to one of our feeds in your browser, using third-party software, or using services like GoogleReader and Bloglines. Depending on your settings, you could get an email, text message, or simply notification on your computer every time we post new stuff. Hope you're hungry, cause we've got lots to feed on:
When you're standing in line at the train, waiting for a friend at the airport, or just killing some time in-between meetings, go to communitychristian.org on your phone for the latest news and happenings at Community. That's right, we have a mobile version of this web site that is easily accessible from any mobile phone browser. We've removed all the fancies and left all the useful content so that you can stay up-to-date with what's on the web, no matter where you are. Our auto-detecting-mobile-device robot will see that you're coming from a mobile phone and give you the simplified version. Enjoy!
Creating content for the web is one of the most interesting and challenging forms of communication. Perhaps because it is still new and is changing all the time, the process of building, modifying, and maintaining a web site never ends. Even when a web site is finished, it's not finished!
