Media is the language of our culture and it is very much a part of the worship experience at Community. You can serve in the Media Arts ministry and use your skills in media, technology, and art to enhance the worship experience at every location.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but if you’re going to use one with your own words, it better be the right picture. Now that using imagery with preaching has become fairly common, it’s important for churches to really think about what they’re projecting on-screen during a talk.

Community's new Photography Team has officially launched with team members receiving their first assignment starting this weekend. So far, 11 people have signed up to help us photograph our locations. Some are professionals, some are hobbyists, but all of us share a passion to communicate with images. Each campus has at least one member, but we could really use 2-3 photographers at each campus. If you are interested in joining the team, contact Tom Greever to be a part of this exciting new way to contribute to the mission of Jesus.

We are officially organizing a team of photographers from every campus
to take on monthly assignments. By joining this team, you will be added
to an email list and receive a monthly assignment via email to take
photos. On the due date, you'll upload your 10 best shots and share
them with the rest of the team. The best pics will go on the web and in
promotional materials.

We've been interviewed dozens of times for creating the Mac/PC parody videos for our series Christian No More: Christian/Christ-follower. This was one of the first interviews I did, with Bill Seaver at MicroExplosion and I thought it would be fun to share.
