Many families from A O Marshall and Parks Academy schools count on the schools to feed their children breakfast and lunch.  This year there are several children that only eat at school because there is so little available in the home.  These families tend to plan for their shortage of food during Christmas and summer breaks but not as well during spring break.  COMMUNITY 4:12 will be collecting the food necessary to feed 100 of the neediest families at these schools.

We now have 20 people who go to either A O Marshall or Parks Academy schools to tutor, do story telling or teach a fun class. If you have a heart for making a difference in a child’s life in a very direct manner and you have some time available during the school day, you may want to check this out.  Presently classes include carpentry, sewing, crocheting, crafts and cooking.  However, other classes are being developed as the interest arises.  ContactBob Lowe for more information.
