Thanks to many of you, last year we were able
to sponsor 400 Brady Elementary School students in East Aurora with school supplies. This year we would like to
sponsor all 500 students who receive
free/reduced lunch. Instead of getting a long list of supplies that you need to go out and buy and try to
cram into a paper bag, all you have to do is
tell us you would like to sponsor a child (or
two or three) and we pre-order supply kits.
We will still sell them for a fraction of the
cost to Brady parents, so the school will
earn money as they have in the past.

We have two weekly programs that will continue all summer. In order to
accommodate the increased number of kids who will participate over the summer,
we need several more volunteers for each of these programs. High school students
welcome!
Saturday Stars Tutoring
Saturday mornings, 9:30 - 10:45, at Bardwell Elementary School. Over the
summer many children loose much of what they learned during the year. This
program will give them an opportunity to actually improve their reading over the
summer months. Contact Kim Baird if you are interested in
helping.
Kids' City Tuesdays
Tuesday nights, 7:00 - 8:30 pm at our Lighthouse office in downtown Aurora.
We average 40 - 50 kids at Kids' City Tuesdays, and we have close to 80 kids on
our roster. In order to lower our adult-child ratio for maximum impact, we need
several more volunteers---especially men. We play games, have a large group
Bible lesson, and small group discussion. The kids and volunteers have a blast!
Contact Desiree Guzman if you are
interested in joining the fun and helping kids find their way back to God!
