Is your child ready to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ? Have they been asking to take the next step and share their commitment publicly? The weekend of September 4th & 5th has unofficially been declared “Kids’ City Baptism Weekend” at the Yellow Box! We are encouraging our Kids’ City kids, who are ready to take this next step in their faith, to be baptized on this weekend. For more information, email

Share is a Community 4:12 ministry developed to help meet the food
needs of those in Aurora with limited resources. THIS WEEKEND, September 4-5, yellow barrels will be available for your donations of canned
fruits, vegetables, soups, baby formula, baby foods, and diapers. For

On behalf of Kids’ City at the Yellow Box, I would like to thank everyone
who brought in their gently used shoes this past month. Our kids had a
goal. The goal was to collect 1,000 pairs of shoes so that two orphans
we “adopted” in Tanzania – Awesa Selemani & Sued Selemani – would
have their school tuition paid for the next year. The kids worked hard
cleaning their closets, talking to their friends and families and each
week more and more shoes arrived in Kids’ City to be bundled, counted and
bagged. Then we said, “let’s ask the grown ups to bring in their shoes
too!” And, WOW, did they ever!
The Child Dedication experience provides parents of infants and young children a formal, public opportunity to dedicate their children to the Lord. Child Dedications will be held at all services the weekend of September 25th/26th. Parent classes will be held on Sunday September 12th at 10:20 am and Saturday September 18th at 5:30 pm. Click

This group will challenge you to think about what this later part of your life will look like and you will leave with helpful insight and tools to help you be prepared. This group is for all ages, from those who are just entering the workforce to those who are approaching retirement.
If you are new to COMMUNITY or have never attended one, please join us at our upcoming Welcome Celebration on Sunday, September 12th at 10:20am at the Yellow Box and let us welcome you to Community Christian Church! There, you will have the opportunity to meet others who are new to the church as well as some of he pastors and ministry leaders on staff. You'll discover all the wonderful opportunities the Yellow Box has to offer to connect with others and grow spiritually.

For the past 7 years, we have been working in the under-resourced community of East Aurora. We seek to transform that community, but we find that in doing so, we are also transformed.
