At COMMUNITY we passionately believe that we need to be about far more than just “doing church”--we need to make sure we are “being the church.” I am constantly challenged by the question, “If your church ever closed its doors, would anyone in the community even notice? Would they care?” I desperately want that answer to be “YES!”
At Montgomery Campus, along with other campuses over the last few years, we have done a lot to “be the church” in East Aurora, which is resulting in some big-time community transformation. And now we get to be a part of helping launch a new campus there in January!
So now our campus is ready to take what we’ve learned there and begin working hard to make a real community impact Oswego & Montgomery. This is where you come in!
Over the last several months, we have been praying and seeking the best ways to serve the community and make an impact in Oswego and Montgomery. I can’t say that God has shown us the full plan yet, but we have decided on 2 projects to begin with.
As you know, sometimes the biggest challenge of new projects is just getting them off the ground. So we are looking for people whom God might be leading to be a part of this community impact stuff with us.
If you are interested in being a part of either of these projects (baseball or tutoring) in any way, please contact our “Oswego Project Coordinator” Bob Hatcher at BHatcher@ExecutiveNetworkInc.com.
And if you have know of any needs we can meet or have ideas of ways we can serve in Oswego to make a real impact, please email CARTER MOSS and let him know! God may have birthed an idea in you that needs to be shared…
Thanks for being a part of COMMUNITY--let's keep "being the church" to our communities!
