If you have ever thought about becoming a small group leader, this is the training for you.  The three week Turbo Training program is designed to equip you with the skills you need to become an effective small group leader.

We are hoping to launch multiple groups this fall to help us to connect all the new people God has been sending us.  New leaders will be the key to helping us meet our goal!

We will be meeting on Thursdays, August 5th, 12, 19th from 7-9pm at Montgomery Campus.  Snacks and materials will be provided.

Please RSVP for the Turbo Group Training to Jenn Moss, jennmoss@communitychristian.org.

As I had only been attending COMMUNITY for about a year and a half it would also be an oppurtunity to meet new people.

As part of our partnership with the Kendall County Food Pantry, we have been challenging people to become "Neigborhood Collection Sites"--people who will talk to their neighbors about collecting food, which both increases our impact in feeding people, AND provides a great opportunity to connect with neighbors. (Contact Angela [a.malloy@hotmail.com] for more info!)

Check out the story of Joe Moberly and his family, who ventured out to meet their neighbors recently...

altIn mid-September of last year, Maria Neuhold of Montgomery Campus received the upsetting call from her neighbor informing her that her house was on fire.  Maria said later, “First, I was in disbelief...it felt like a joke.” Hearing of the fire, Carter Moss, the Montgomery Campus Pastor turned to the church members for help.
