IMPACT is a two-year initiative of Community Christian Church that will lay the foundation for our next 20 years.
We have an opportunity to impact the world unlike any other time in our
church history. God has truly blessed our church. We have reproduced
churches not only locally, but also nationally and now globally. What an exciting mission to be on together!
Chicago Campuses Information Meeting

COMMUNITY has plans to launch three more sites in the city of Chicago during the next two years. This exciting IMPACT initiative will continue to expand our church's efforts to reach the 67% of people who are far from God and serve the 20% who live in poverty in the urban center of our city. Jon Ferguson and his family will be moving into the city the summer to spearhead the expansion of our city presence and Tammy Melchien will serve as the Campus Pastor for the first location launching in March of 2011. If you would like to learn more about this initiative and/or would consider joining the launch team, we'd love to invite you to our next Chicago Campuses Information Meeting on Sunday, March 21st at 2pm in room 214 at the Naperville-Yellow Box campus. God continues to use the East Aurora Campus

Our first bilingual campus launched in East Aurora just over a month ago with 202 in attendance. Since, they have settled at about 140 in weekly attendance. Each Sunday they continue to welcome new families from the community. Some are already serving on Sundays. Also Obe, the campus pastor, already got to baptize his brother Alonso in one of the services. They got to send 6 students to Blast last week. God continues to use the East Aurora campus to help people in East Aurora find their way back to Him.
Aurora North Campus to launch on March 21st

The launch of Community’s 11th campus is fast approaching! On March 21st at 10am Aurora North will take flight. It’s gonna be a great day. Would you pray for us? There’s, obviously, matrix to fill (mostly Kids' City!) and projects to finish (theater and office) but we desire your prayers mostly for the people we are trying to Impact for the Kingdom. Pray that God will touch their hearts now. That they will be open to an invitation, begin seeking God or wanting something more in life. We’re targeting 45,000 homes – 135,000 people. Thanks in advance for your prayers.
Underground Update!

Thank you for your continued generosity to IMPACT! Here at Romeoville we have a plan and vision to finish the lower level build-out of the Children and Arts Center (which we've labeled the Underground) to have a greater impact on our area students. We've got great news to share as part of our Underground update! Architectural plans have been completed and submitted to The Village of Romeoville for their comprehensive review. We are one step closer to starting the project. Watch for more updates soon!
East Aurora Bilingual Campus Launch

Sunday, January 10, we celebrated the launch of our East Aurora Campus at 76 S. LaSalle St.
After serving in the community of Aurora for more than 5 years, COMMUNITY started its first bilingual campus in the heart of East Aurora. It was a great day and a lot of people from the community showed up. We even broke 200 in attendance between adults and kids!
Through Community 4:12, we have served in the community organizing events like the Christmas Giftmart, our back to school supplies event, mentor and tutor programs, and others. It is our joy to be able to bring the spiritual component to our community development and provide a place to Celebrate weekly what God is doing through a bilingual church.
