Village Team (Uganda)

Hi!  My name is Tim Bakker and I would like to invite you to join our Village Team. The Village Team is looking ahead to an exciting season of Impact in Africa.  Over the past year, through your generosity over 100 orphans in a small Ugandan village have been able to receive education, room and board that would have otherwise been unavailable to them.  This work has been through a partnership with an organization that was developed by a group of Community attenders called Global Family Rescue (GFR).  This year, we are excited to announce that we have decided to merge GFR - Uganda into COMMUNITY's Global initiatives.  We will be working over the next year to identify and develop partner churches and organizations that reflect the values of COMMUNITY in taking a lead role in eradicating poverty in Africa.   A number of exciting opportunities are emerging and the Village Team looks forward to sharing these with you.  Your Celebration Generosity donations to the Village Team will be used to fund local Ugandan church efforts that will continue to be focused on education, health care, economic development and church planting efforts. 

During our celebration services March 6/7, we will be devoting the entire service to celebrate generosity to these four teams. We hope to make this our largest offering all year long. If you have already pledged to IMPACT, make this day a way to give BIG towards your pledge.
